INTRODUCTION

The successful company that stays ahead of its competitors is usually the one that has a workforce of skilled people. Many people learn their skills at the workplace. Productive work is made up of numerous skills and all these skills must be learned . Employees must be taught the essentials of the job in the most effective and efficient manner. One of the most effective ways of training workers and the principal method of transferring job-related knowledge and skills is through On The Job (OJT). Many companies are aware the OJT is powerful training tool for supervisor , line leader and foremen to impact job-related knowledge and skills to subordinates.

Companies have often encountered difficulties in implementing On The Job training program , especially when their supervisors , line leader and foreman what has been given the task of developing and conducting an OJT program ; but who may or may not have teaching experience .
